Author: Lisa Suzanne
 Release Date: June 5, 2015

Blurb

Murdering a global icon was off limits, but his family was fair game.

The threats against me, the daughter of rock star Gideon Price, forced me closer to the man protecting me. I’d lost track of the number of secrets the men in my life had kept from me. But when the threat against my family turned to murder, it was time for me to learn the truth.

I was reminded once again just how short life could be, compelling me to take control of my future.
I was no longer in the dark, but I was in more danger than I ever imagined.

My Review
Vintage Volume Two is the stunning conclusion to this two part series. In Vintage we were introduced to Roxy, Gideon Price's daughter. For being the daughter of a famous musician, Roxy is so down to earth and kick ass - not spoiled at all. At the end of volume one readers are left with the most confuzzletastic moment ever. I screamed at my e-Reader "Nooo! I need to know what happens next!" (And by need, I meant I seriously NEEDED to know like right that instant.) I was literally left wanting to pull my hair out from that cliffhanger. In hindsight, the cliff hanger leaves readers wanting more, more, more...I just hated to have to wait for the conclusion. I'm not a patient person - obviously.

Volume Two is so more suspenseful, but also leaves readers with the answers you'll desperately be craving: the WHO, WHY, WHAT of the matter.

From the beginning my heart was sore thinking of poor Roxy and her unemotional state after losing two people who were important to her - each in different ways. I loved that Parker unknowingly pulled her out of that state and got her to feel and to smile without forcing it onto her face. I was his cheerleader through both books, waving from the stands and making signs "GO PARKER!" when I wasn't shaking my pompoms. Seriously, I was a definite fan of his and all the drool worthy inducing moments Lisa Suzanne gifts us readers with.

(Speaking of drool worthy... Aren't these covers to die for? I absolutely love both covers and the feelings they invoke. The designer captures the pure connection between these two characters in an incredible ways that makes readers feel from the moment they lay eyes on the cover until the moment each book ends.)

Roxy is probably one of my favorite female characters ever. She is so down to earth, she works in a vintage store and wears awesome clothes. Her dad is a musician, a famous one at that, but she doesn't let it go to her head and she's just incredible. She has her own certain flair and she's an incredibly strong woman to go through everything she does.

In the first book there are a lot of secrets and lies going on behind Roxy's back and volume two touches onto that more. Roxy is obviously in danger but she has no idea why or who is behind it. Her stepmother seems quite suspicious so that's one suspect. But then there's also the fact that Roxy's dad is famous and is keeping something from her - could it be a fan? While all the danger is forefront, there's also Parker. He seems like a nice guy but can Roxy trust him or is he using her for who her father is? There are plenty of questions going around and Roxy is still being left in the dark.

In order to be kept safe, Roxy heads out on tour with her dad and Parker and when she's not spending time looking over her shoulder, always expecting danger, she spends time getting to know the super sexy rock star Parker. I mean what girl can complain about spending her time with two rock stars who adore her? One of them being her father who is worried about her safety enough to bring her with him to keep her safe.

Suzanne's development of both plot and characters is incredible. I love her way with words and the suspense she builds for readers. She leaves you second guessing yourself at every turn. There were a few times where I thought I knew what was going on only to be surprised when it turned out a completely different way.

I really loved both books in this two part series, but I have to say this second volume is my favorite. Lisa Suzanne's Vintage is emotional, captivating,  and suspenseful. I definitely recommend this one to all.

*FIVE STARS*
